Size - Maximum Length: 27,0 cm.

Synonyms: Satanoperca pappaterra, Geophagus pappaterra.

Common name of Satanoperca pappaterra: Acará bicudo, Acará Papaterra (Brasil); Pantanal eartheater (EUA).
