The beach of Cajutuba is an extension sand surrounded by dunes and lakes on the banks of the Tapajos River, municipality of Belterra, which owns the infrastructure of an inn with restaurant, but is isolated from the village and town.

This beach is well preserved, has little movement and should be sought by people who like to rest and long solitary walks. It can be accessed by road by private car or by boat.

All rivers in the Amazon are habitat for fish stingray. In isolated beaches like this, they are more frequent, so before entering the water, make it loud and poke the sand from the river bottom where you're going through with a wooden stick, which are always available at the edge of beaches, for frighten them.

Stingrays are not aggressive, but inject a painful venom as a defense when molested, and they can camouflage themselves and become invisible at the bottom of the sand. They are essential to the ecosystem because they feed the parasites, crustaceans, snails and fish are a major responsibility for natural cleaning the bottom of rivers.
