The creek Jamaraquá is small river a flowing into the river Tapajós, Belterra municipality and this housed within the National Forest and can be accessed by land by private car and with authorization from IBAMA.
This creek is close to a village that has the same name, has infra-structure of dirt road up to the margin and straw huts typical of the region.
This stream springs from watery eyes, so has the water temperature very cold and because it is a stream on a beach is transparent and has its margins and all covered bed of sand.
By being in an environmentally protected area it is surrounded by many aquatic plants and during the flood season is wanted by the families of manatees and several kinds of birds and fish.
